Environmental Project Manager
Hemphill, Green & Associates currently has a position
available for an Environmental Project Manager in our
Hemet, CA office. You must have a college degree in
environmental studies, chemistry, or similar fields of
study. We are looking for a self-starter with a high
energy level and excellent computer and people skills.
Job activities will include the following tasks:
environmental audits and inspections of manufacturing
facilities, environmental compliance reports (i.e., Air
Emissions Inventory Reporting, Toxic Release Inventory
Reporting, Wastewater Monitoring Reports). In addition,
they would be trained in the field and writing aspects
of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
Marketing ability is preferred but not necessary.

Geologist
HGA’s
Hemet, California office is seeking a staff
geologist to support soil, groundwater, and soil
vapor investigations and remediation projects for a
variety of clients. Responsibilities include, but
are not limited to:

Environmental data
collection; field sampling preparation and
implementation

Soil matrix, soil
vapor, and groundwater sample collection

Sample preparation
and shipment to analytical laboratory

Analytical
laboratory coordination
-
Oversight of
drilling and soil gas subcontractors

Enforcement of
safety practices

Field sampling
plan development and implementation

Field report
writing; geologic conditions description

Boring log and
geologic cross section development
The
successful candidate will have a B.S. degree (or
higher) in geology with 2 to 3 years of experience
conducting Phase II site assessments. The ideal
candidate will be a registered California PG or be
on track for obtaining PG certification. The ideal
candidate will also have 40-hour HAZWOPER training
and current refresher classes; have strong technical
writing and oral communication skills; and possess
the ability to work in a team environment.
